EL REFRANERO ESPAÑOL COMO BASE CULTURAL

Abstract

[ES]El presente TFM pretende dar relevancia a los refranes españoles como fuente de enseñanza aprendizaje. Así, se promoverá el análisis de refranes y se pondrá en consonancia aspectos de la cultura española con el significado y sentido de los mismos. Aunque, aparentemente, no parezca que el empleo de refranes sigue vigente, se usan más habitualmente de lo que se piensa. Es por este motivo que sea de suma importancia enseñar a los alumnos de una segunda lengua su significado, sentido y razón de ser para que consigan desentrañar lo que se quiere decir y el valor cultural que conlleva. Dentro de los aspectos culturales de España en la enseñanza de ELE, primeramente, se explica la historia del refranero español, su origen y la evolución del mismo. Posteriormente se presenta el empleo y muestrario más usual de los refranes y su comparación con otros idiomas como el francés, inglés, alemán o italiano. A continuación, se hace referencia a la inclusión de refranes en obras literarias tan importantes como el Quijote, destacando el papel fundamental de los diálogos de Sancho y don Quijote como germen de muchos de los refranes que aún hoy en día siguen siendo usados. Se terminará con una propuesta de Unidad Didáctica que servirá para poner en práctica todo lo expuesto con anterioridad, intentado reflejar el interés por acercar los refranes a unos aprendientes que, gracias a la dinámica de aprendizaje, las actividades planteadas y los recursos empleados, serán capaces de comprender, asimilar y emplear en el futuro estas construcciones tan interesantes como prácticas en cualquier circunstancia que estimen oportuna. [EN]This Master’s Thesis aims to give relevance to Spanish sayings as a source of teaching and learning. Therefore, the analysis of proverbs will be promoted and different aspects of the Spanish culture will be put in consonance with the meaning and significance of them. Although, apparently, it does not seem that the use of proverbs is still a current practise, they are used more often than it is thought. This is the reason why it is vital to teach students with Spanish as their second language its meaning and reason of being so that they can unravel what is meant when they are used and the cultural value that it entails. Within the cultural aspects of Spain in the teaching of ELE, firstly, it explains the history of Spanish proverbs, their origin and the evolution of them. Afterwards, the most common use and sample of proverbs is presented and its comparison with other languages such as French, English, German or Italian. Next, there are some references to the inclusion of proverbs in such important literary works as Quixote, highlighting the fundamental role of the dialogues of Sancho and don Quixote as the origin of many of the sayings that are still in use nowadays. This Thesis will conclude with a proposal of a Didactic Unit that will showcase how to implement everything that has been previously stated, trying to reflect the interest in bringing the proverbs to learners who, thanks to the dynamic of learning, the activities proposed and the resources used, will be able to understand, assimilate and use in the future all these interesting and practical constructions in any circumstance they consider appropriate.
