Proyección de la cultura Egipcia en occidente

Abstract

[ES]La influencia que Egipto tuvo en el resto de civilizaciones a través del tiempo, desde Grecia hasta la actualidad, ha sido motivo de estudio y controversia. En este trabajo se analizará el fenómeno de la “egiptomanía”, el cual incluye las fuentes de estudio que dieron lugar a la fascinación por Egipto, las obras de arte generadas posteriormente por influencia del arte egipcio y la literatura simbólica que surgió tras este fenómeno. Así, se desentrañarán muchas dudas, mitos y errores históricos que se han venido dando en la cultura occidental desde que surgió este fenómeno y que siguen estando presentes en la sociedad actual.

[EN]The influence that Egypt has in other civilizations through time, from Greece to the present time, has been the subject of study and controversy. In this paper, we will be analyzed the phenomenon of "egyptomania" which includes sources of study that led to a fascination with Egypt, artworks subsequently generated by influence of Egyptian Art and symbolic literature that emerged from this phenomenon. Will try to explain many questions myths and historical errors that have been taking place in Western culture since it emerged this phenomenon and are still present in today's society.
