recomendable.
[EN]ABSTRACT Subject: Search and analysis of studies assessed the effectiveness of neurodynamics in the median nerve in isolation or combined with other conservative methods in people diagnosed with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome (SDT). Objective: Evaluate the effectiveness of the median nerve neurodynamics for SDT, from the evidence found in the literature Metodologhy: An electronic search of published randomized clinical trials from 2000 to the present, in PubMed, PEDro, WOK, Scopus and MEDLINE by consulting the Cochrane Library database was performed. Methodological quality was assessed using PEDro scale and the available evidence was graded response to the 4 levels of the GRADE system. Results: 9 trials were included, with scores ranging from 4 to 8 on the PEDro scale. All analyzed the effectiveness of neural sliding in isolation or within a multidisciplinary program. The results showed positive effects on pain intensity, symptoms, function, grip strength. Conclusion: Neurodynamics seems to appear as a useful and effective technique in addressing the STC, but the realization of future research is recommended.
