Abstract

[ES]La globalización es una realidad actual y la mayoría de las empresas ven la necesidad de internacionalizarse por alguno de los medios existentes para poder seguir compitiendo en los mercados y hacer frente a la competencia. Uno de los métodos más utilizados es el de la exportación, ya que requiere baja inversión y supone bajo riesgo. Los sectores tradicionales también han tenido la necesidad de internacionalizarse y uno de los sectores más tradicionales de España como es el de la cestería y espartería ha visto en la expansión internacional una buena oportunidad de negocio y una forma de poder seguir haciendo frente a la competencia y satisfacer las necesidades de los consumidores.

[EN] Globalization is a current reality and most companies see the need of internationalizing trough any of the existing means to continue competing in the markets and face the competition. One of the most widely used methods is export, since it requires low investment and low risk. The traditional sectors have also had the need to internationalize and one of the most traditional sectors of Spain such as basketry and plaiting has seen in the international expansion a good business opportunity and a way to continue to facing the competition and meet the needs of consumers.
