[ES]Se llevó a cabo un estudio cuasi experimental en un colegio de la ciudad de Linares, en el cual se seleccionaron a los 30 alumnos de la clase de cuarto de primaria de entre 9-10 años, 56,6% eran niños y el 43,3% eran niñas. Se les pasó un PRE-TEST y un POST-TEST con cuestiones acerca del Soporte Vital Básico, entre la realización de ambos test se llevaron a cabo unas sesiones educativas con los temas más relevantes para enseñar a los niños cómo actuar ante estas situaciones y así comprobar la efectividad de la intervención realizada. Los datos obtenidos de dichos test se analizaron descriptivamente y tras el análisis se recogieron en una tabla de datos en Excel, a partir de la cual se elaboraron los gráficos con los porcentajes de aciertos totales por preguntas, los aciertos totales por sexo y los aciertos totales del grupo. Los porcentajes de aciertos totales en niñas en el PRE-TEST fueron del 12,3 % y en el POST-TEST del 72,3%, y en los niños un 10,98% en el PRE-TEST y un 70,58% posteriormente en el POST-TEST.
Con los datos obtenidos se realizó una discusión con otros estudios similares y finalmente se destacaron las conclusiones obtenidas del estudio realizado.
[EN] A quasy-experimental study was conducted in a school in Linares city with 30 children’s aged between 9-10 of which a 56,6% were boys and the 43,3 % were girls. They were asked to do a PRE-TEST and a POST-TEST with questions about Basic Life Support. Between performing both tests were haven to class with most relevants topics to teach students to solve them with the intention of verifying the effectiveness of the intervention. The obtained data were analyzed descriptively and subsequently developed a table of data in Excel, starting from that table got graphics showing the percentages of hits by questions and students in the PRE-TEST and the POST-TEST distinguishing by sexes and finally making the total percentages of correct answers. The percentage of hits of the girls in the PRE-TEST was the 12,3% and the 72,3% on the POST-TEST. The percentage of hits of the boys in the PRE-TEST was the10,98 % and the 70,58% on the POST-TEST. Achieves results, the discussed with data from similar studies and finally the conclusions of the study were highlighted.
