Programa de educación para la salud a pacientes con indicaciones de implante de marcapasos y sus cuidadores principales

Resumen
[ES] Frente al continuo aumento de la incidencia de implantes de marcapasos yla escasez de trabajos
orientados hacia la educación sanitaria para las personas con dispositivos electrónicos de
corazón, se justifica la confección de este Programa de Educación para la Salud. La media de edad
de estas personas es de 77 años, por lo que un elevado porcentaje serán pacientes
plurípatológicos y dependientes. De aquí surge la necesidad de hacer participe en dicho
programa educativo al cuidador principal. El programa se encuentra estructurado en 4 sesiones,
en las que se hará uso de la estrategia familiar, comunitaria y grupal. Los contenidos educativos a
tratar abarcan temas de gran importancia a través de diversas actividades y metodología
educativa. Con la puesta en marcha de éste, se pretende fomentar el aprendizaje de
conocimientos básicos sobre el implante, el autocuidado del paciente y el apoyo a los cuidados
del cuidador principal.
[EN] Due to the continuous increase in the incidence of conventional pacemaker ímplants and the shortage of jobs oriented towards health education for people with electronic heart devices, a Health Education Program is justified. The average age of these people ¡5 77 years, reason why a high percentage will be patients ills and dependent. From here originates the need to involve the main caregiver in the educational program. The program is structured in 4 sessions, which will make use of the family, community and group strategy. The educational contents to be addressed cover topics of great importance through various activities and educational methodology. With the implementation of this, it is intended to promote the learning of basic knowledge about the implant, self-care of the patient and support to the care of the main caregiver.
