ATENCIÓN SANITARIA Y SERVICIO DE URGENCIAS DE ATENCIÓN PRIMARIA: CONOCIMIENTO DE LOS DISPOSITIVOS DE APOYO PARA POBLACIÓN MIGRANTE

Abstract

[ES]Introducción: Debido a su fácil accesibilidad, los inmigrantes tienden a frecuentar los servicios de urgencias. Muchos no conocen el idioma por lo que nos encontramos ante la conocida barrera lingüística. Este inconveniente nos dificulta ofrecer atención sanitaria de calidad, provocando errores en el diagnóstico. Objetivo: Realizar una investigación sobre los dispositivos de apoyo que mejoran la calidad asistencial en el Servicio de Urgencias de Atención Primaria (SUAP). Metodología: Se trata de un proyecto de investigación cualitativa con diseño exploratorio-descriptivo, llevado a cabo en el SUAP Bola Azul. Los informantes clave serán los médicos/as y enfermeros/as del equipo. Las técnicas que utilizaremos serán la entrevista en profundidad, el grupo de discusión y la búsqueda bibliográfica. Resultados esperados: Mejorar la calidad asistencial, creando una guía que oriente al personal sanitario del SUAP en la atención a los pacientes con barrera idiomática y posteriormente extrapolarlo a otras instituciones sanitarias.

[EN] Introduction: Because of their easy accessibility, immigrants tend to frequent emergency services. Many of them do not know the language, so we are faced with the well-known language barrier. This inconvenience makes it difficult for us to offer quality health care, leading to errors in diagnosis. Objective: To carry out research into the support devices that improve the quality of care in the Primary Care Emergency Department (SUAP). Research plan: This is a qualitative research project with an exploratory-descriptive design, carried out in the SUAP Bola Azul. The key informants will be the doctors and nurses of the team. The techniques we will use will be in-depth interviews, discussion groups and a bibliographic search. Expected results: To improve the quality of care, creating a guide to guide SUAP health staff in the care of patients with a language barrier and subsequently extrapolate it to other health institutions.
