[ES] El presente trabajo surge de la necesidad de crear una planta de tratamiento en la que se puedan gestionar los RAEE, debido a la enorme cantidad de residuos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos que se acumulan en los vertederos o puntos limpios, y que son simplemente abandonados. Los RAEE contienen grandes cantidades de materiales con componentes muy valiosos, como metales preciosos o tierras raras, que pueden ser tratados posteriormente para su aprovechamiento en la fabricación de nuevos productos, consiguiendo, además, mitigar las emisiones de efecto invernadero.
Con esto se pretende concienciar a la población sobre el impacto y las implicaciones que tiene el uso desmesurado y posterior desecho de dispositivos de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos que, según las cifras, cada día va en aumento.
[EN] This project arises from the need to create a treatment plant in which WEEE can be treated, due to the enormous amount of waste electrical and electronic equipment that accumulates in landfills or clean points, and that is simply abandoned. WEEE contains large amounts of materials with very valuable components, such as precious metals or rare earths, which can be later treated for their use in the manufacture of new products, also achieving mitigation of greenhouse effect emissions. This is intended to make the population aware of the impact and implications of the excessive use and subsequent disposal of electrical and electronic devices, which, according to the figures, is increasing every day.
