[EN] Breastfeeding is the source of food and liverlihood oldest. The whole community is aware that this type of feeding is the most important for the newborn during the first six months. Due to the benefits provided to the child and mother. But even from ancient times to the present, still declining prevalence of breastfeeding. One of the main reasons for this decline is the start of the Industrial Revolution and the incorporation of women to work outside the home, along with the introduction of artificial feeding, causing its decline, making the indices are for from the six months recommended by WHO. For this reason an education program is done towards promoting breastfeeding. Under this program, health professionals have a great work in this area, trying to encourage / promote breastfeeding. Therefore, this work should be started early in the health centers through maternal education on prenatal and postnatal care. To perform this task nurses should generate knowledge and focus its work on the most common problems that can be found among participants. Therefore, our main objective is based on a 20% increase the prevalence of SCI at 2, 4 and 6 months in infants of parents who participate in the program for promoting breastfeeding. To achieve this objective should be performed at least 2 sessions maternal education during pregnancy control, 3 sessions of maternal education in raising the child / a. On the other hand, one home visit before the first 5 days of the newborn / a is performed. And finally, 1 visit and 3 individual views (see child health nursing) is performed.
