Resumen
[ES] Chlamydia trachomatises una bacteria intracelular obligada, causante de una de las enfermedades de transmisión sexual que está incrementando su prevalencia actualmente (uno de cada diez jóvenes hoy en día padece de clamidiasis). Los objetivos de esta revisión son conocer la relación existente entre el contagio de la bacteria Chlamydia trachomatis y las secuelas en la capacidad reproductora femenina, y determinar el papel de la enferemería en cuanto a las estrategias de prevención y educación sanitaria relacionadas con esta infección de transmisión sexual. Así, tras realizar nuestro trabajo se ha establecido dicha relación positiva entre la bacteria y los problemas de salud que puede llegar a provocar en la mujer. Hoy en día no existe una vacuna que contribuya a la erradicación del microorganismo, es por ello que la enfermería debe centrarse sobre todo en la educación para la salud en materia de prevención.
[EN] Chlamydia trachomatis is an obligate intracellular bacterium, which causes one of the sexually transmitted diseases that is currently increasing its prevalence (one in ten young people today has chlamydisis). Objectives: to know the relationship between the transmission of Chlamydia trachomatis bacteria and the sequelae in the female reproductive capacity and to determine the role of the nursing in the strategies of prevention and health education related to this sexually transmitted infection. Thus, afeter performing our work has established such as positive relationship between the bacteria and health problems that can lead to women. Today there is no vaccine that contributes to the eradication of the microoganism, which is why nursing should focus above all on health education in prevention.
