Resumen
[ES] La integración de los estudios de enfermería en la universidad y la reforma de la atención primaria, hizo que la enfermería empezara a desarrollar, evolucionar y obtener el reconocimiento que se merece. Sin embargo el proceso ha sido muy lento, y la enfermería comunitaria ha sufrido los distintos cambios hasta llegar a ser un profesional independiente.
Nuestra sociedad está cada vez más exigente con respecto a que nos garanticen una óptima calidad de los servicios de salud por todos los profesionales que compone el sistema sanitario. Esto se ve afectado por la falta de reconocimiento profesional, social y especialista de la enfermería.
Las enfermeras familiares y comunitarias estaban delegadas bajo el control del médico y supervisión de enfermos crónicos, siendo un trabajo centrado en controlar parámetros y constantes, y realizando las pruebas rutinarias que en la mayoría de los casos se hacen sin una evaluación critica; dejando a un lado el autocuidado, la promoción de la salud y la atención a la familia y comunidad.
[EN] the integration of nursing studies at the university and the reform of primary care, made the nursing began to develop, evolve and get the reconocmiento it deserves. However, the process has been very slow, and community nursing undergone various changes to become a freelancer. Our society is increasingly demanding regarding we produce sufficiently optimal quality health services for all professionals who make up the health system. This is affected by the lack of professional, social and specialist nursing recognition. Family and community nurses were delegated under the control and supervision of medical chronically ill, still a work focused on controlling parameters and constants, and performing routine tests in most cases do without critical evaluation; leaving aside self-care, health promotion and care for the family and community.
