Resumen
[ES]Introducción. La fisioterapia tiene un papel importante en las intervenciones de Atención
Temprana que reciben los niños con Parálisis Cerebral.
Metodología. La búsqueda se realiza en diferentes bases de datos (PubMed, Scopus, PEDro y
CINAHL), utilizando como descriptores las palabras: atención temprana, parálisis cerebral,
tratamiento y fisioterapia; en español e inglés.
Resultados. La Atención Temprana es una intervención global dirigida a la población infantil
de 0-6 años con trastornos en su desarrollo o riesgo de padecerlos y llevada a cabo por un
equipo multidisciplinar. La Parálisis Cerebral Infantil es un grupo de trastornos del movimiento
y de la postura. No son progresivos y ocurren en el feto o en el niño pequeño. La fisioterapia
desarrolla su función en distintos ámbitos de la Atención Temprana y actúa desde la
prevención primaria, secundaria y terciaria. Su objetivo es mejorar las capacidades y
funcionalidad del niño para mejorar su integración y calidad de vida.

Childhood Cerebral Palsy ia a group of non-progressive movement and posture disorders that occur during fetal development or in early childhood. Physical therapy develops its role in different fields of Early Intervention providing primary, secondary and tertiary prevention. Its main goal is to recover the abilities and functionality of children to improve their integration and quality of life.
