Propuesta de intervencion integral fisioterapica en un centro de personas mayores institucionalizadas

Abstract

[ES] El aumento de la proporción de las personas mayores frente al total de la población, actualmente en España es un 18.7% según Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), y su tendencia creciente con (25.6% en 2031 y el 34.6% en 2066 según el INE) implica una gran dedicación de recursos para facilitar su envejecimiento saludable y calidad de vida. El presente trabajo desarrolla un protocolo integrado para la intervención del fisioterapeuta en el marco de sus competencias, a las personas mayores institucionalizadas y al personal cuidador con el fin general de apoyar, atender y facilitar un envejecimiento activo y saludable así como optimizar los recursos.

[EN] The increase in the proportion of the elderly compared to the total population, currently in Spain it is 18.7% according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE), and its growing trend with (25.6% in 2031 and the 34.6% in 2066 according to the INE) implies a great dedication of resources to facilitate its aging healthy and quality of life. The present work develops an integrated protocol for the intervention of the physiotherapist within the framework of their competences, to the institutionalized elderly people and to the caregiver staff with the general aim of support, assist and facilitate active and healthy aging as well as optimize resources.
