TENS en pacientes con Fibromialgia.

Abstract

[ES] El propósito del trabajo es evaluar si el TENS es efectivo para la fibromialgia. Para ello, se realiza una búsqueda bibliográfica en Pubmed, Pedro y Scopus y se observa que sí parece ser efectivo en mayor o menor medida sobre todo para reducir el dolor y mejorar la funcionalidad y la calidad de vida de los pacientes. A pesar de esto, es necesaria una mayor evidencia ya que esta es escasa.[EN] The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of TENS in fibromyalgia. To this end, a literature search in PubMed, Pedro and Scopus is performed and the results are positive to reduce pain and improve function and quality of life of patients. Despite this, more scientific evidence is needed.
