[EN] Within the acquired brain injury (ABI), traumatic brain injury (TBI) has a high incidence in industrialized countries (pediatric and young population). In the case studied, the patient presents a left spastic hemiplegia due to a serious TBI. There has been a thorough neurological evaluation, from which concrete and specific targets have been established. The treatment includes: exercise of neural mobilization, with the objective of reducing spasticity; the Bobath method exercises, to improve the functionality of the patient; and lastly hippotherapy, applied as an add-on treatment to improve postural control and balance. During the re-evaluation results have been favorable, thus achieving the goals initially set. In conclusion, we could say that an important factor in the favorable results has been finding a therapy that best suits each stated objective.
