This work involves a theoretical reflection on the current legislation that Mozambique has on LGBTI rights to explore if they are in line with the measures that governments take to respect the rights of sexual minorities. The results show a clear intention to advance in the conquest of rights, but there is a bias between legality and efforts to ensure that the LGBTI community is a community full of rights. These results can be used to focus attention on content that can be improved.
