[EN] Objective: Verify the effectiveness of therapeutic exercises with or without physiotherapeutic treatment in patients with subacromial clamping. Material and methods: The search was performed in the major databases of Health Sciences: PEDro, Cochrane Plus, ScieLO, Pubmed, SCOPUS from Febreary 2007 until March 2017 of the various approaches in physiotherapy was performed about the subacromial clamping. Results: Found 952 articles which, after application of the inclusion criteria are noted to 113 of which 8 were included in this review that compared the effectiveness of therapeutic exercise isolated and combined with other therapies for pain, range of movement, function, etc. Conclusion: within the subacromial syndrome, therapeutic exercises are the most effective form against the pain and improve function in patients with this pathology. This type of exercise could be the basis of treatment physiotherapy, but obtaining best results combined with other types of therapies such as kinesiotaping, manual therapy or laser.
