Papel de la enfermera en la recuperación tras ACVA: prevención de la dependencia.

Resumen
[ES] El Accidente Cerebro Vascular Agudo (ACVA) supone actualmente una de las primeras
causas de mortalidad en el mundo y la primera causa de dependencia, con una incidencia
creciente en las mujeres menores de 65 años. El objetivo de este trabajo es proponer una serie
de cuidados y actuaciones de forma coherente y estructurada que contribuyan a la
consecución de una meta que ya es común entre todos los profesionales de enfermería que
tratan a pacientes con ACVA: prevenir la dependencia y/o discapacidad que se produce tras
un ictus.
La metodología para la resolución del caso clínico que se presenta en este trabajo se basó en
un Proceso de Atención de Enfermería fundamentado en el modelo de Virginia Henderson,
con sus correspondientes cinco fases: valoración, diagnóstico, planificación, ejecución y
evaluación; usando las taxonomías NANDA, NOC y NIC.
[EN] Nowadays, acute stroke is considered one of the first causes of death around the world and also the first cause of dependence, with an increasing incidence in women under the age of 65. The aim of this article is to propose a line of care and activities in a consistent and structured way to contribute to a goal that is already common among nursing proffesionals who work with acute stroke patients: to prevent the dependence and/or disability that occurs after an acute stroke. The methodology to resolve the clinical case reflected in this article, consisting in a nursing care plan based in Virginia Henderson’s model and its five phases: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation; using tha NANDA, NOC and NIC taxonomies.
