Given their invisibility, programs and services have been implemented to address the transition process of these young people from a neutral position, which further aggravates situations of inequality and discrimination. In this sense, the gender perspective allows us to understand the existing inequalities between women and men and offers possibilities to transform them. In this way, the Master's Final Project (TFM) aims to present a research proposal to highlight the importance of incorporating the gender perspective in the daily practice of professionals involved in the Down syndrome collective and to express their perception in the process of transition to adult life of these young people.
