Resumen
[ES] Actualmente tanto la Administración Pública como sector
productor oleícola de la provincia de Jaén trabajan en el desarrollo
y difusión de su gran patrimonio cultural como es el olivar. Con la
finalidad de seguir aportando conocimiento al respecto, en este
estudio se realiza un análisis de las percepciones de los residentes
hacia la actividad turística denominada oleoturismo considerados
estos como una pieza fundamental y clave para su desarrollo e
implementación de esta actividad turística oleícola. Las
percepciones determinan la actitud que los residentes pueden
manifestar frente al turismo y turistas, así como las experiencias y
grado de satisfacción por ambas partes. Para ello, se ha realizado
un estudio de carácter cualitativo mediante entrevistas
semiestructuradas con una muestra extraída de residentes de la
provincia de Jaén, destacando el gran desconocimiento del
oleoturismo por parte de la población residente y sus
consecuencias tanto a nivel social, cultural y económico, que esta
actividad puede suponer para la provincia de Jaén.
[EN] Currently, both the Public Administration and the olive oil producing sector of the province of Jaén are working on the development and dissemination of the olive grove. In order to keep on providing knowledge, this study is an analysis of the perceptions of residents towards the touristic activity called Olive oil tourism, as they are a fundamental and key piece for the development and implementation of this olive oil touristic activity. The perceptions determine the attitude that residents will express towards tourism and tourists, as well as the experiences and levels of satisfaction on both sides. For this, a qualitative study was conducted through semi-structured interviews with a sample collected from residents of the province of Jaén, highlighting a great lack of awareness of olive oil tourism on the part of the resident population and its consequences at a social, cultural and economic level for the province of Jaén.
