Cuidados de enfermería en el trasplante hepático

Abstract

[ES] El hígado tiene muchas funciones entre las que se encuentran: síntesis de proteínas, metabolismo de los medicamentos y almacenamiento de energía. También elimina los productos de desecho y las toxinas de la sangre. Cuando la insuficiencia hepática es muy grave y no responde a los medicamentos el trasplante podría ser una opción. El objetivo principal de esta revisión es estudiar cuales son los cuidados enfermeros que se dan en un paciente trasplantado de hígado. Para llevar a cabo esta revisión se realizó una búsqueda en las diferentes bases de datos bibliográficas: CUIDEN, PUBMED, COCHRANE… para su estudio, incluyendo los que estuviesen disponibles a texto completo.

[EN] Liver has many functions, among which are: protein synthesis, the metabolism of the medicines and the storage of the energy. Also excretes waste products and the toxins from blood. When the hepatic failure is so serious and doesn’t react to treatment, a transplant could be an option. The chief aim of this review is to study the nursing care which are given to a liver transplant patient. To carry through this review a search was made in the different bibliographic basis for study: CUIDEN, PUBMED, COCHRANE… for study, including those that were available in full text.
