Resumen
[ES]El presente trabajo plantea un modelo de gestión de turismo sostenible orientado
a la buena gobernanza en el cantón Salinas, provincia de Santa Elena, país
Ecuador. Desarrolla información relevante obtenida por medio de textos escritos
sobre la sostenibilidad, la gobernanza, y la participación de actores sociales, así
como también información que incluye aspectos generales de Salinas como
destino turístico, obtenida a través de textos y entrevistas realizadas a actores
clave.
El Trabajo se compone fundamentalmente de tres partes : Aspectos generales,
teóricos y metodológicos; análisis situacional del destino mediante la aplicación
del análisis estructural de las relaciones , utilizando como herramienta principal
Ucided 6 y NetDraw; y la propuesta del Modelo de gestión basada en los
hallazgos obtenidos.
Las conclusiones del trabajo consideran la necesidad de instaurar un modelo de
gestión que conlleve a lograr prácticas enmarcadas en una participación social
equitativa para lograr sostenibilidad y buena gobernanza en el destino turístico.
[EN]This thesis proposes a model of sustainable tourism management oriented to good governance in Cantón Salinas, Santa Elena province, Ecuador. It develops relevant information obtained through written texts on sustainability, governance, and participation of social actors, as well as information that includes general aspects of Salinas as a tourist destination, obtained through texts and interviews with key actors. This work is composed mainly of three parts: general, theoretical and methodological aspects; situational analysis of the tourist destination through the application of the structural analysis of the relation among this aspects, using Ucided 6 and NetDraw as main tools; And the proposal of the Management Model based on the findings obtained. The conclusions of the work consider the need of establishing a management model that leads to the achievement of practices framed in an equitable social participation to achieve sustainability and good governance in the tourist destination.
