Resumen
[ES] La esclerosis múltiple (EM) es una enfermedad crónica de etiología desconocida y patogenia autoinmune que afecta al sistema nervioso central (SNC). Tiene un impacto negativo en las actividades cotidianas, relaciones con el entorno y en la capacidad para trabajar. Se diagnostica entre los 20 y 40 años de edad y tiene un curso variable. El objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Grado es identificar el papel de la enfermería a partir de los diagnósticos e intervenciones enfermeras más relevantes de la EM para conseguir una mejor calidad de vida del paciente y cuidador principal. Para su elaboración se ha recogido información bibliográfica a través de los libros, de bases de datos y artículos de revistas; con un criterio de búsqueda de 15 años (2002-2017). Las intervenciones de enfermería deben dirigirse a conocer los principales diagnósticos que tiene el paciente.

[EN] Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic disease of unknown etiology and autoimmune pathogenesis which affects to the central nervious system (CNS).This desease has a negative impact on daily activities, in the relationships with the environment and in the work abilities. It is diagnosed between the age of 20 and 40 and it has sa variable course. The objective of this study is to identify the role of nursing from the most relevant diagnoses and interventions of nurses in MS to achieve a better life quality for the patient and primary caregiver. For this study, biographical information has been collected through books, of different databases and journal articles; With a search criterion of 15 years (2002-2017).
