Resumen
[ES] El objetivo de esta revisión fue comprobar la efectividad de la terapia espejo en personas que habían sufrido un ACV tras analizar las últimas evidencias científicas. Se realizó una búsqueda de ensayos clínicos aleatorizados en las bases de datos PUBMED, PEDro y Scopus. Se seleccionaron aquellos estudios que estuviesen en inglés o español, con una antigüedad no superior a 5 años y que se encontrasen a texto completo. Se evaluó la calidad del estudio mediante la escala PEDro. Se seleccionaron 8 artículos los cuales fueron clasificados en tres grupos según el tipo de intervención terapéutica. La terapia espejo es una buena estrategia terapéutica para pacientes que han sufrido un accidente cerebro vascular. Obteniendo en los resultados de los artículos seleccionados, un efecto significativo y evidenciado en muchas de las variables estudiadas en pacientes tras un ACV.
[EN] The aim of this review was to assess the effectiveness of the therapy, especially in people who have suffered an ACV after analyzing the latest scientific evidence. A search for randomized clinical trials was conducted in the PUBMED, PEDro and Scopus databases. We selected those studies that were in English or Spanish, with an age of no more than 5 years and with full text availability. The quality of the study was evaluated using the PEDro scale. 8 articles was selected which classified into three groups according to the type of therapeutic intervention. Mirror therapy is a good therapeutic strategy for patients who have suffered a stroke. To get, in the results of the selected articles, a significant and evidenced effect in many of the variables studied in patients after stroke.
