Revisión narrativa: Análisis de la situación y actuación ante el virus del Ebola

Abstract

[ES] En diciembre de 2013, se inicia un brote por el virus del Ebola, con una elevada tasa de letalidad del hasta el 90% y sin un tratamiento específico. Este último brote ha sido el más importante ya que ha provocado el mayor número de muertes en comparación con los anteriores brotes. Además, ha llegado a traspasar fronteras convirtiéndose en un problema de salud mundial. Por todo lo anterior, se hace importante la necesidad de describir y analizar la situación actual del Virus del Ebola, además de describir la enfermedad que causa el virus llamada enfermedad del virus del Ebola, siendo un tipo de fiebre hemorrágica vírica más letal que existe. También se precisa de la identificación del trabajo que han de realizan los profesionales de enfermería, y como deberian actuar y saber actuar ante un caso.[EN] ln December 2013, an outbreak of the Ebola virus begins, with a high case fatality rate of up to 90% and without a specific treatment.
