LA DINÁMICA DE LOS ACTORES TURÍSTICOS EN DESTINOS EMERGENTES. EL CASO DE LAS CIUDADES MEDIAS DEL CENTRO DE ANDALUCÍA

Resumen
[ES]El turismo es una actividad muy dinámica que se encuentra en constante cambio. En
esta investigación se analiza cómo se comporta la actividad turística en tres ciudades
medias del centro de Andalucía: Alcalá la Real, Antequera y Lucena. Se quiere verificar
si este tipo de ciudades cuyo patrimonio monumental es su principal atracción y el que
provoca la existencia de un turismo urbano-cultural, pueden llegar a posicionarse como
destinos emergentes con un gran futuro en el terreno turístico. A su vez, se concluye si
la marca Tu historia, dentro del proyecto de la Fundación Ciudades Medias del Centro
de Andalucía, ocupa una importante posición como ente que promueve e influye en el
avance en materia de turismo que cada una de las tres ciudades está experimentando.
Todo este estudio permite, además, saber si la gestión turística se está produciendo
correctamente o si debe ser cambiada y adaptada mediante nuevas estrategias,
interrelaciones entre los diferentes actores del destino, etc.

[EN]Tourism is a dynamic activity which is in constant change. In this investigation, it analyzed how the touristic activity behaved in three medium-sized cities in the centre of Andalusia: Alcalá la Real, Antequera and Lucena. It wants to verify if this type of cities whom monumental patrimony is its principal attraction and what provokes the existence of an urban-cultural tourism, is able to position itself as emerging destinations with a great future in touristic field. At the same time, it’s concluded if the brand Tu historia, inside the Medium-sized Cities of the Centre of Andalusia Foundation project, occupies an important position as an entity that promotes and influences in the advance of tourism subject that each of the three cities is experiencing. All of this study let, furthermore, knowing if the tourism management is taking place correctly or if it should be changed and adapted through new strategies, interrelations between the different actors of the destination, etc. Keywords: urban-cultural tourism, medium-sized cities, emerging destinations, networks, management.
