[EN]Girl of seven years old girl diagnosed as having right porencephaly, of prenatal etiology, manifested as left hemiparesis. The aim of this survey is to determine the benefits provided by the physiotherapy treatment in this disease, through the study of a clinical case, for a period of three months. A physiotherapy intervention was made based on evidence-based, using treatments such as the Perfetti method, KABAT method, Le Metayer, Bobath, mirror therapy, stretchings and gait reeducation by using orthosis. The results show improvements in some abilities and skills, but can not be considered significant with respect to the initial assessment. We can conclude that the intervention protocol can be made effective in the long term since the porencephaly, as in other types of cerebral palsy, the evolution is slow and the benefits are obvious with time.
