Fisioterapia en la disfagia tras el accidente cerebro vascular. Una revisión bibliográfica.

Resumen
Introducción. La disfagia es una sensación subjetiva de dificultad en la deglución. Se estima que aproximadamente el 50% de los supervivientes al accidente cerebro vascular (ACV) experimenta dificultad al tragar o disfagia. Objetivo. Analizar el tratamiento de fisioterapia en la rehabilitación de la disfagia tras un ACV y la evidencia clínica que las soportan valorando las distintas terapias y tratamientos usados en la actualidad. Métodos. Se realiza una revisión bibliográfica en la que se investiga el tratamiento de la disfagia tras el ACV en los artículos publicados desde 2009 a la actualidad. Resultados. Tras la búsqueda en las bases de datos se realiza el estudio con 15 artículos sobre disfagia tras el ACV. Conclusión. Las técnicas empleadas en los distintos estudios han mostrado su eficacia en los pacientes con disfagia tras el ACV, con resultados significativos principalmente en el caso de TENS junto al tratamiento tradicional de la disfagia.
