Resumen
[ES] Uno de los grandes éxitos de la medicina actual es haber conseguido un incremento de la tasa de
supervivencia casi al 80% de los niños con cáncer. Superar un cáncer es una experiencia
traumática, tanto para el niño que la padece como para el resto de la familia. Por ello, el apoyo
es muy importante en todo el tratamiento y los padres tienen que recibirlo, para infundir ánimo
a su hijo y cuidarlo. Por ello, y en base a la evidencia encontrada, ofrecemos una propuesta de
programa de educación para la salud, cuyo objetivo es evitar el afrontamiento inefectivo por
parte de los padres cuyos hijos han sido diagnosticados de cáncer recientemente.
[EN] One of the great successes of modern medicine is to have achieved an increase in the survival rate of almost 80% of children with cancer. Overcoming cancer is a traumatic experience for both the child who suffers and the rest of the family. Therefore, the support is very important throughout the treatment and the parents have to receive it, to infuse your child encouragement and care.
