Resumen
[ES] El diseño organizativo constituye uno de los factores claves del
éxito empresarial en tanto que garantiza la consecución de los
objetivos empresariales. En un entorno cambiante y dinámico
como el actual, marcado por la fuerte competencia y la inmediatez
de los cambios, las organizaciones tradicionales pueden encontrar
dificultad para cumplir sus objetivos y sobrevivir a largo plazo.
Ante esta realidad, una estructura flexible constituye una respuesta
hábil y acertada para mitigar los efectos de la variabilidad del
contexto empresarial. A lo largo de este trabajo se realiza una
revisión teórica de los modelos de organización flexibles y sus
características más relevantes, centrándose posteriormente en el
análisis detallado de algunos de estos modelos, cada vez más
extendidos en la actualidad. Por último, se examinan las realidades
empresariales de algunas organizaciones que aplican con éxito las
estructuras explicadas.

[EN] Organizational design is one of the key factors of business success as it can guarantee the achievement of business objectives. In a changing and dynamic business environment like the current one, characterized by strong competitors and immediacy of changes, traditional organizations may find it difficult to achieve their objectives and survive in the long term. Given this reality, a flexible structure is a skillful and accurate response to cut down the effects of business context variability. Throughout this academic work, a theoretical review of flexible organization models and their most relevant features is performed, focusing later on the detailed analysis of some of these models, increasingly widespread today. Finally, business situations of some organizations that successfully apply these structures are explained. Key words: Organization, structure, model, flexible, business environment.
