ESTUDIO DE LAS TIC EN LA CADENA MELIÁ HOTELS INTERNATIONAL

Abstract

[ES] Este trabajo de fin de grado se centra en el estudio de las TIC en una empresa hotelera, en concreto, en la cadena Meliá Hotels International. El objetivo ha sido analizar cuál es la importancia de las TIC en esta empresa, utilizando para ello elementos como las redes sociales a través de herramientas como LikeAlyzer para Facebook y Twitonomy para Twitter; los sitios webs con una adaptación del modelo eMICA, la tienda virtual y los mercados electrónicos. Por otro lado, este trabajo también muestra cuál es el concepto de TIC, cuáles son las características de estas herramientas, su importancia en el sector hotelero, cómo está el sector hotelero en España y cuáles son las herramientas TIC más utilizadas dentro de este sector.

[EN] This final project focuses on the study of ICT in a hotel company, specifically, in the Meliá Hotels International chain. The objective has been to analyze the importance of ICT in this company, using elements like social networks through tools such as LikeAlyzer for Facebook and Twitonomy for Twitter; the websites with an adaptation of the eMICA model, the virtual store and the electronic market. On the other hand, this work also shows the concept of ICT, the characteristics of these tools, their importance in the hotel sector, how is the hotel sector in Spain and what are the most used ICT tools in this sector.
