LA ECONOMÍA DEL BIEN COMÚN Y SU POSIBLE APLICACIÓN EN EL SECTOR OLEÍCOLA

Abstract

El peso de la economía capitalista en la sociedad nos lleva a reflexionar si puede desarrollarse otro modelo económico que respete el medio ambiente y los valores humanos. Para dar respuesta a esta idea nace la Economía del Bien Común, que pone en el centro el bien común y relega a un papel secundario el beneficio económico. En este estudio nos vamos a centrar en sus conexiones con el desarrollo sostenible y en la posibilidad de aplicar sus teorías a la agricultura del olivar, pilar fundamental de la economía de la provincia de Jaén.

The influence of the capitalistic economy in the society leads us to reflect about if it is possible to develop another economic model that respects the environment and human values. To answer this proposal appears the Economy for the Common Good, which centers the common good and pushes economic profit into the background. This essay focuses on the connections between the Economy for the Common Good and sustainable development and also it is focused on the possibility of applying its theories to the olive’s agriculture, which is the mainstay of the economy of the province of Jaen.
