Resumen
[ES] Con este Trabajo Fin de Grado, se busca poner en práctica algunos conceptos estudiados a lo largo de la carrera a través del análisis de la dimensión económico-financiera de una empresa real. Junto a esta finalidad, también se pretende la gestión de la información que se tiene al alcance, incluyendo el tratamiento tanto de datos internos de la compañía elegida como del entorno y del sector en el que ésta desarrolla su actividad empresarial, para poder así realizar previsiones sobre su futuro más próximo. Éste es el fin último del desarrollo de este estudio.
En este caso, la empresa escogida ha sido Paradores de Turismo de España por varias razones: por un lado, posee unas características propias que la diferencian de otras compañías hoteleras que operan en el mismo sector y, por otro lado, cuenta con una larga trayectoria empresarial (más de 90 años de historia).
[EN] This Final Project tries to put into practice some concepts studied throughout the degree by means of analysis of the economic-financial dimension of a real company. In addition to this purpose, the management of the avaliable information is pursued too, including both the processing of the chosen company’s internal data and the socio-ecomonic setting and sector where it carries out its business activity, in order to be able to make forecasts of the nearest future. This is the ultimate aim of this study. In this case, the chosen company has been Paradores de Turismo de España for several reasons: on the one hand, it has its own characteristics that differentiate it from other hotel companies operating in the same sector, and on the other, it has had a long term business trajectory (more than 90 years of history).
