[EN]Aim: to analyze the relationship between the motives to care and both positives and negatives consequences which appear in the caregiver, in informal caregivers of older than 55 years old. Methods: we have made a literature search on 8 different electronic database and we have also made an inverse search. The search chain has been adapted for each database. Results: 34 studies were included in the review, in which we have studied how our variables are related. We have divided the information which appears in the studies in tables divided by motives. Conclusions: we have found evidences which point to a negative relationship between the motive to care reciprocity and the subjective burden; it seems that the relationship between the attachment and the satisfaction is positive; the extrinsic motives are related with less positives consequences and with more negatives consequences.
