REVISIÓN BIBLIOGRÁFICA SOBRE EL TRIAJE ENFERMERO EN URGENCIAS

Abstract

[ES] El triaje es clave para el servicio de urgencias ya que es la llave de entrada de los pacientes a este servicio, y debe de hacerse de una forma eficaz y rápida para priorizar la atención de acuerdo con la gravedad de cada paciente. Este triaje lo realizan los profesionales de enfermería, lo que les aportan autonomía a la par que una gran responsabilidad. En este estudio pretendemos conocer la importancia del rol de enfermería en el triaje, cómo está el panorama actual en España en el triaje en el servicio de Urgencias Hospitalario y analizar las funciones de la enfermera de triaje.

[EN] Triage is key for the emergency department since it is the entry key for patients to this service, and it must be done efficiently and quickly to prioritize care according to the severity of each patient. This triage is carried out by nursing professionals, which gives them autonomy as well as great responsibility. In this study we intend to know the importance of the nursing role in triage, how is the current panorama in Spain in triage in the Hospital Emergency service and to analyze the functions of the triage nurse.
