comunidad general.

Also, due to the low proportion of women prisoners in the penitentiary system, these women find themselves in a situation of minority against men prisoners, which leads to their necesities as women being invisibilized. We have perform a bibliographic review aiming to recognize the health status of women inmates. The results show that the health demands of women prisoners outweigh the sanitary services they received, concluding that women inmates are immerse in a state of health inequality in regard to their male counterparts and women in the general community.
