Nuevos Trabajos de Investigación con Técnicas Geofísicas en la Esmeralda (Distrito Minero de Linares, Jaén)

Abstract

[ES] Este Trabajo Fin de Grado consiste en la realización de trabajos de investigación con técnicas geofísicas (tomografía eléctrica y método electromagnético en el dominio de los tiempos) en el entorno de la Esmeralda, en las proximidades del filón El Correo (antiguo distrito minero de Linares, sureste de España) con el fin de analizar la eficacia de ambas técnicas en la investigación de estructuras geológicas con implicaciones mineras. En concreto, se estudia el límite oeste del distrito minero, donde los filones dejaban de explotarse, condicionados por la presencia de fracturas.

[EN] This Final Degree Project consists of carrying out research work with geophysical techniques (electrical tomography and electromagnetic method in the time domain) in the surroundings of La Esmeralda, in the vicinity of the El Correo vein (former mining district of Linares, southeast of Spain) in order to analyze the effectiveness of both techniques in the investigation of geological structures with mining implications. Specifically, the western limit of the mining district is studied, where the seams ceased to be exploited, conditioned by the presence of fractures.
