Efectividad de la fisioterapia respiratoria en el abordaje terapéutico de pacientes con Fibrosis Quística Infantil. Revisión sistemática.

Resumen
[ES] Objetivo: Reunir las principales evidencias disponibles en la actualidad sobre la efectividad de la fisioterapia respiratoria en el abordaje terapéutico de pacientes con Fibrosis Quística Infantil.
Método: Se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica en las bases de datos SCOPUS, Pubmed y PEDro. Fueron incluidos ensayos clínicos aleatorizados y controlados.
Resultados: Tras la revisión y localización de 2645 artículos, finalmente se analizaron 9 atendiendo a los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. Estos estudios fueron clasificados en cuatro grupos según el tipo de intervención terapéutica aplicada, hallándose como procedimientos utilizados: fisioterapia respiratoria convencional, fisioterapia respiratoria instrumental, ejercicio físico y terapia inhalada.
Conclusiones: Existe una evidencia limitada de la efectividad de la fisioterapia respiratoria convencional, de la fisioterapia respiratoria instrumental y de un programa de ejercicios de carga progresiva en el tratamiento de niños/as con Fibrosis Quística. Existe una evidencia sólida del uso beneficioso de la terapia inhalada para este tipo de pacientes.
[EN]Aim: Gather main evidences currently available on the effectiveness of chest physiotherapy in the treatment of patients with children Cystic Fibrosis. Method: A literature review was performed in the databases SCOPUS, Pubmed and PEDro. Randomized controlled clinical trials was included in this study.Results: 2645 studies were found after the search, of which 9 were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and classified into four groups attending to the type of therapeutic intervention applied, being used as procedure: chest physiotherapy, instrumental chest physiotherapy, exercise and inhaled therapy. Conclusions: There is limited evidence about effectiveness of conventional chest physiotherapy, instrumental chest physiotherapy and a progressive exercise program loaded in the treatment of children with Cystic Fibrosis. There is a solid evidence about beneficial use of inhaled therapy for this type of patients.
