[en] This thesis aims to develop a technical study on the feasibility of carrying out a groundwater capture well and building a storage tank for agricultural water supply in the province of Jaén. The region is characterized by a warm and dry climate prone to long periods of drought, which makes the growth of crops difficult and necessitates the search for alternatives to traditional irrigation. To develop this study, an analysis of the available water resources in the area was carried out, as well as a geological study of the subsoil to determine the presence and quality of groundwater. In addition, the geotechnical, normative, and environmental feasibility of both groundwater capture well and the construction of the tank for temporary water storage for irrigation were evaluated. For that purpose, several design options based on implementation conditions were considered.
