Resumen
[ES] Objetivo: Investigar sobre el cuidado basado en el Método madre canguro (MMC) en niños prematuros, así como los beneficios que este aporta en estos niños. Resultados: El Método madre canguro posee muchos beneficios para los recién nacidos pretérmino, tales como: regular la temperatura del recién nacido, potencia la lactancia materna exclusiva, ayuda a reducir el dolor ante técnicas invasivas y mejora la duración y calidad del sueño. Una mejora de las constantes vitales, una mayor ganancia de peso, reducción de los días de hospitalización y una reducción de los niveles de cortisol en sangre. El niño sometido al MMC presenta menos alteraciones neurológicas y se ha observado beneficios para los padres y económicos. Por lo tanto el MMC es una técnica beneficiosa.
[EN] Objective: To investigate based on Kangaroo mother care (MMC) in premature infants care and the benefits this brings to these children. Results: Kangaroo mother care has many benefits for preterm infants, such as regulating the temperature of the newborn, power exclusive breastfeeding helps to reduce pain and invasive techniques improves the duration and quality of sleep. An improvement of vital signs, increased weight gain, reduced hospital days and reduced cortisol levels in blood. The child referred to the MMC has fewer neurological disorders and has been shown benefits for parents and economic. Therefore, the MMC is a beneficial technique.
