This Final Degree Project focuses on the design and implementation of a home automation system using smart elements and principles of the Internet of Things (IoT), divided into three blocks. In the first, a system with commercial components Aqara is implemented in a real housing, including sensors and a multimode switch, connected by means of a Gateway and the Zigbee protocol, controlled remotely by two proprietary applications compared in terms of usability and design. In the second block, the system is integrated into Home Assistant running on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+, adding lighting actuators and switches, customizing interfaces, and linking it to Grafana for data analysis and a Telegram bot for notifications. In the third block, a scale model of the house is created to demonstrate the automations, using another Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and configuring the code necessary for its operation.
