PRÁCTICAS PROFESIONALES EN EL ÁREA DE TURISMO Y PATRIMONIO MUNDIAL DEL AYUNTAMIENTO DE ÚBEDA

Abstract

[ES]La actividad turística es uno de los tres grandes pilares de la economía de la ciudad Úbeda. El desarrollo de las prácticas del Máster en Gestión Estratégica Sostenible de Destinos Turísticos ha permitido conocer la gestión/planificación turística y la promoción de recursos turísticos. En este sentido, las prácticas, de 200 horas de duración, se han desarrollado en la Oficina de Turismo de Úbeda, en la que se ofrece información y orientación al turista sobre la ciudad; así como en el Centro de Interpretación "Andrés de Vandelvira”, en el que se está configurando el desarrollo de un nuevo recurso, aun por explotar desde el punto de vista turístico. El periodo comprendido en el desarrollo de las prácticas ha coincidido con la época baja de turismo en la ciudad de Úbeda. A pesar de ello, se experimenta una comprensión adecuada de la gestión y planificación de numerosos recursos y actividades culturales.

[EN]The touristic activity is one of the three principal pillars of Úbeda's economy. The development of the internships of the Strategic and Sustainable Management of Tourism Destinations Master's degree let us know the touristic management/planning and the promotion of the tourism resources. The internships, of 200 hours, were developed in the tourism office of Úbeda where information of the city is offered to the tourist; and in the Interpretation Centre "Andrés de Vandelvira" where the promotion of a new resource is still developing. The interships coincided with the low season of tourism in Úbeda so we can see the mistakes that are produced and why these happen. Nevertheless, it is experienced a more convenient understanding of the management and a planning of numerous resources and cultural activities.
