[EN] Objective: to find evidence of the effectiveness of foot reflexology and yoga as a palliative treatment in patients with MS. Materials and methods: A bibliographical search is realized in 3 databases: Pubmed, Pedro and Cochrane. After evaluating the incorporation and exclusion criteria, 7 articles are selected out of the 156 found one. Results: From the 7 selected articles: 4 of them evaluate the effectiveness of foot reflexology (comparing 3 articles to a simulated treatment of foot reflexology and 1 article with a training treatment of muscular progressive relaxation); 3 of them evaluate the effectiveness of Yoga and other treatments such as physiotherapy and aerobic exercise. Conclusion: It is seen moderated evidence that both treatments are effective in symptomatology of EM patients, but it is needed more studies that show the palliative effect of therapies for EM.
