[EN] Objectives: To verify the effects of the dry puncture in the myofascial trigger points of the trapezium as Treatment of myofascial pain syndrome and / or neck pain. Methods: A systematic review of studies published since 2012 was carried out. The databases analyzed were Pubmed, PEDro and Scopus with the keywords `` dry needlind'' and `` trapezius'', using the connector booleado ``AND´´. Results: The evaluations measured in the selected studies were PPT and pain as the main measure and the main measures showed a significant effect while the secondary measures were not clear and had to continue studying them. Conclusion: Dry needling as a treatment for trapezius myofascial trigger points in cervical pain has been shown to have evidence of pain intensity and PPT.
