[ES]Es sabido que el ingreso de una persona en una UCI es una situación estresante tanto para el paciente como para el familiar. Pero, mientras
que los pacientes son atendidos en el interior de la UCI, las necesidades de los familiares generalmente quedan desatendidas en su exterior. •
Este estudio, es un estudio cualitativo que intenta encontrar las necesidades de los familiares de dos UCI de la provincia de Jaén, cuales son cubiertas y cuál es la valoración de la atención recibida. Se realizaron 14 entrevistas entre los familiares de la UCI del Hospital San Agustín de Linares y la UCI del Hospital Médico-Quirúrgico de Jaén. También se realiza una búsqueda de conocimiento sobre esta situación, para la posterior comparativa entre lo publicado y lo producido en este estudio.
[EN]The income of a person in a Critica! Care Unit is a very stressing situation for the patients and their families. But, although the patients are cared at the CCU, their families are not enough cared. This is a qualitative study that pretends to find the necessities of the families in two CCU in the province of Jaén. Fourteen interviews were conducted with families al CCU of San Agustín Hospital in Linares and CCU of Médico-Quirúrgico Hospital in Jaén. Also, we made a pursuit of knowledge about this situation to compare with our study. Also, 1 although we have a little sampling, the conclusion of this study is very similar of the bibliography found: oral communication, need for more flexible nours or problem with the waiting room. On the other hand, we found on the bibliography sorne aspects that are completely different of our study. Finally, we offer others form of research like continuation of this study.
