MANEJO DEL PACIENTE POLITRAUMATIZADO ADULTO EN ENFERMERÍA: UNA REVISIÓN NARRATIVA.

Resumen
[ES] Actualmente los traumatismos representan una importante causa de morbimortalidad, principalmente
en los más jóvenes de la sociedad. Por lo que los objetivos de este trabajo van orientados a conocer un
adecuado abordaje del paciente politraumatizado desde el punto de vista enfermero. Realizamos una
revisión de artículos publicados entre 2006 y 2016 en las bases de datos: Cinahl, Cuiden Plus, Elsevier,
Google académico, Proquest, PubMed, seleccionando 21 artículos. Mostrando que la metodología
enfermera en el paciente politraumatizado se puede desarrollar partiendo de información de casos
particulares, y aplicarse en general al paciente politraumatizado, por medio de la elaboración de planes
estándar. Reconociendo la hemorragia grave como causa temprana de mortalidad, y la triada mortal
como una de las complicaciones más letales en estos pacientes. Además no queda establecida una
evidente relación entre la reducción de la morbimortalidad y la aplicación de las estrategias de tratamiento dirigidas a este tipo de pacientes.
[EN] Nowadays trauma is an important cause of morbidity and mortality, especially among the youngest in society. Therefore, the objectives of this study are oriented to know an appropriate approach of the polytraumatized patient from the point of view of nursing. We conducted a review of articles published between 2006 and 2016 in the databases: Cinahl, Cuiden Plus, Elsevier, Google academic, Proquest, PubMed, selecting 21 articles. The results show that the nurse methodology in the polytraumatized patient can be developed based on information from particular cases, and applied in general to the polytraumatized patient, through the development of standard plans. Recognizing severe bleeding as an early cause of mortality, and fatal triad as one of the most lethal complications in these patients. In addition, there is no clear relationship between the reduction of morbidity and mortality and the application of treatment strategies aimed at this type of patients.
