Intrmentos de medida sobre el conocimiento de la enfermedad de Alzheimer. Revisión bibliográfica de la literatura.

Abstract

[ES] Debido al envejecimiento de la población cada vez hay más número de personas afectadas por la enfermedad de Alzheimer. Para poder atender bien a estos pacientes se necesita estar bien formado en esta patología. Existen instrumentos que miden el nivel de conocimiento sobre la EA. El objetivo de este estudio es revisar la literatura para identificarlos y determinar tanto sus propiedades psicométricas como la población a la que están dirigidos, su formato de respuesta, los ítems que los constituyen y los dominios que abarcan. Por consiguiente, se realizó una búsqueda bibliográfica en determinadas bases de datos, con unos criterios de inclusión y exclusión previamente establecidos, seleccionando 11 artículos finales para llevar a cabo este estudio. Tras la revisión de estos artículos se pone de manifiesto la importancia de la estandarización de las ocho escalas, para averiguar cuál es el nivel de conocimiento de la población sobre la EA.

[EN] Due to the aging of the population there are more and more people affected by Alzheimer's disease. To be able to take care of these patient, it is neccessary to be well trained in this pathology. There are instruments that measure the level of knowledge about EE. The aim of this study is to review the literature to identify them and determine their psychometric propeties and the population to which they are directed, their response format, the items that consitute them and the domains the cover. Therefore, a bibliografic search was carried out in certain databases, with previously established inclusion and exclusion criteria, selecting 11 final articles to carry out this study. After the review of these articles, the importance of the standardization of the eight scales is revealed, in order to find out the level of knowledge of the population about AD.
