Intervención educativa de enfermería en pacientes con Insuficiencia cardiaca: revisión bibliográfica

Abstract

[ES] La insuficiencia cardiaca es una de las enfermedades más frecuentes, discapacitantes y letales que existen. Los objetivos de este trabajo son conocer el beneficio de la atención enfermera a través de una intervención educativa en pacientes con insuficiencia cardiaca, comparar la efectividad de la intervención y el seguimiento habitual en el tratamiento de la IC e identificar las distintas intervenciones que se pueden llevar a cabo durante el tratamiento de estos pacientes. Es una revisión bibliográfica narrativa de las bases de datos de Ciencias de la Salud, en las que se obtuvieron diecisiete estudios que utilizan una intervención educativa para aumentar el autocuidado en pacientes con insuficiencia cardiaca. En la mayoría de estudios este tipo de intervención tiene un efecto positivo en el autocuidado y la adherencia al tratamiento, sin embargo en otros estudios no se han obtenido diferencias entre este tipo de intervención y el tratamiento habitual.

[EN] Heart failure is one of the most common, disabling and deadly diseases that exist. The objectives of this review are: determine the benefit of nursing care through an educational intervention in patients with heart failure, comparing the effectiveness of the educational intervention nurse and regular monitoring in the treatment of heart failure and report on the various interventions that can be carried out during the treatment of these patients. It is a literature review of databases Health Sciences in which seventeen studies use an educational intervention to increase self-care and adherence to treatment in patients with heart failure. In the majority of the previous research studies, has a positive effect in self-care and adherence to treatment in addition to reducing hospital processes. Nevertheless no significant differences between this kind of intervention and usual were found in other studies.
