VIH ATENDIDO EN EL SERVICIO DE URGENCIAS: UNA REVISIÓN BIBLIOGRÁFICA

Abstract

[ES] Objetivo: Conocer la situación de las personas con VIH que acuden a los servicios de urgencias. Metodología: Búsqueda bibliográfica en las bases de datos CINAHL Complete, Cochrane Library, Cuiden Plus, PubMed, PsycINFO, SCOPUS y Web of Science. Se incluyeron 33 estudios. Resultados: Entre los aspectos que influyen en el cribado para la detección de VIH en los servicios de urgencias, destacan la idoneidad del lugar, la actitud frente al cribado, las características sociodemográficas, las conductas sexuales de riesgo, la incidencia y el método de detección empleado además de la renta, coinfección con otras infecciones de transmisión sexual (ITS) o estigma asociado Conclusiones: A pesar de las nuevas estrategias para la detección de VIH, sigue siendo necesaria más investigación para nuevas intervenciones que permitan la detección precoz y la adherencia al tratamiento.

[EN] Objective: To know the situation of people with HIV who go to the emergency services.
