Desarrollo de un estudio epistemológico sobre el tema principal del trabajo: criptografía simétrica y asimétrica, donde se expondrán brevemente algunos conceptos básicos sobre seguridad informática con el objetivo de conocer en cuales de las dimensiones básicas de la seguridad de la información incide directamente la criptografía, se contextualizará el desarrollo de la criptografía desde los inicios de la criptografía clásica hasta la criptografía moderna, se explicará en qué consisten los distintos tipos de algoritmos criptográficos modernos identificando sus diferencias y mostrando cómo se complementan constituyendo la base de aplicaciones fundamentales hoy en día, para finalizar indicando cuales son las principales líneas de investigación en el ámbito de la criptografía para los próximos años. Por otro lado se desarrolla la proyección de los conocimientos definidos en el estudio previo sobre una unidad didáctica enmarcada en alguna etapa del sistema educativo no universitario español.This work is divided into two parts. Development of an epistemological study on the main topic of the paper: Symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, where some basic concepts about computer security will be briefly presented in order to know in which of the basic dimensions of information security cryptography directly affects, the development of cryptography from the beginnings of classical cryptography to modern cryptography will be contextualized, The different types of modern cryptographic algorithms will be explained, identifying their differences and showing how they complement each other, constituting the basis of fundamental applications today, to conclude by indicating the main lines of research in the field of cryptography for the coming years.
